Gout is a type of arthritis that can cause sudden and severe pain, redness, swelling, and tenderness in your joints. It often strikes at night and can be incredibly uncomfortable.

Do you experience any of the following?

  • Intense joint pain that comes on suddenly, often at night (especially in the big toe, but can affect other joints too)

  • Joint redness, swelling, and tenderness

  • A feeling of warmth in the affected joint

  • Difficulty moving the affected joint

  •

If you answered yes, you might have gout and could be eligible for our research study!
